Certificate Course in English

The need of the English as a Second Language in Sri Lanka, to function as a learning hub for the world, is becoming a trend that requires much attention in the field of Second Language learning. In this scope, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences introduced “Certificate Course in English” for both Local and International groups with a modern and requirement of English based curricular.

This short course has been designed for those who have limited duration for successful language learning for their career development and employment purposes.

The course fee is presently Rs. 38,500, and the registration fee is Rs. 2,200 for local students, and the course fee is USD 165, and the registration fee is USD 10 for Foreign Students. This all-inclusive fee is charged to cover lectures, tutorials, and examinations, as well as access to computer laboratory facilities and the library.

The fees should be credited to, Account No 0207 1000 0760 of the Sampath Bank in favour of Nāgānanda International Institute for Buddhist Studies, at the Sampath Bank Makola Branch or any branch of Sampath Bank. Normally, fees paid will not be refunded. However, requests for refund of fees may be considered if made before the expiry of one week from the date of commencement of lectures for each semester.
