නාගානන්ද ජාත්යන්තර බෞද්ධ අධ්යයන ආයතනයේ මානව ශාස්ත්ර හා සමාජීය විද්යා පීඨයේ ව්යවහාරික සන්නිවේදන හා මාධ්ය තාක්ෂණ දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව විසින් සංවිධානය කරන ලද “රූප ඡායා 2026” ඡායාරූප ප්රදර්ශනය සහ සහතිකපත් ප්රදානෝත්සවය, 2026 අගෝස්තු මස 16 වන දින මානෙල්වත්ත, කැලණිය පිහිටි ආයතන පරිශ්රයේදී සාර්ථකව පැවැත්විණි.
දෙවන වසරේ උපාධි අපේක්ෂකයින්ගේ නිර්මාණශීලී දැක්ම, තාක්ෂණික කුසලතා සහ ඡායාරූපකරණය පිළිබඳ ප්රායෝගික දැනුම ප්රදර්ශනය කිරීම සඳහා වටිනා වේදිකාවක් මෙම ප්රදර්ශනය මඟින් සපයන ලදී.
මෙම අවස්ථාව සඳහා ප්රධාන ආරාධිත අමුත්තා ලෙස නාගානන්ද ජාත්යන්තර බෞද්ධ අධ්යයන ආයතනයේ උපකුලපති අතිපූජ්ය ආචාර්ය බෝධාගම චන්දිම නායක ස්වාමීන් වහන්සේ සහභාගී වූ අතර, කථිකාචාර්ය ඕෂන් යාපා අමරසේකර මහතා විශේෂ ආරාධිත අමුත්තා ලෙස සහභාගී විය.
තවද, නියෝජ්ය උපකුලපති පූජ්ය ආචාර්ය දම්පේ විජිතරතන ස්වාමීන් වහන්සේ, මානව ශාස්ත්ර හා සමාජීය විද්යා පීඨයේ පීඨාධිපති මහාචාර්ය පී. බී. මණ්ඩාවල මහතා, සම්මානිත මහාචාර්ය චන්ද්රසිරි රාජපක්ෂ මහතා, ඇතුළු ආචාර්ය හා අනධ්යයන කාර්ය මණ්ඩල සාමාජිකයින් රැසක් මෙම අවස්ථාවට සහභාගී වූහ.
ව්යවහාරික සන්නිවේදන හා මාධ්ය තාක්ෂණ දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවේ ප්රධානී කථිකාචාර්ය සේනක සෙනෙවිරත්න මහතාගේ අධීක්ෂණය යටතේ සහ බාහිර කථිකාචාර්ය සමීර අත්තනායක මහතාගේ සැලසුම් සහ අධ්යක්ෂණයෙන්, දෙවන වසරේ උපාධි අපේක්ෂකයින් විසින් මෙම ප්රදර්ශනය සංවිධානය කරන ලදී.
මෙහිදී සිසුන්ගේ විශිෂ්ට ඡායාරූප නිර්මාණ ඩිජිටල් ඡායාරූපකරණය සහ ජංගම දුරකථන ඡායාරූපකරණය යන කාණ්ඩ දෙක යටතේ ප්රදර්ශනය කෙරිණි.

📸 “RUPA CHAYA 2026” – A Celebration of Creativity, Vision & Photography
The “Rupa Chaya 2026” Photography Exhibition and Certificate Awarding Ceremony, organized by the Department of Applied Communication and Media Technology, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Nāgānanda International Institute for Buddhist Studies, was successfully held on 16th August 2026 at the Institute premises, Manelwatta, Kelaniya.
The exhibition provided a valuable platform for second-year undergraduates to showcase their creative vision, technical skills, and practical knowledge of photography, developed through their academic curriculum.
The event was graced by Most Ven. Dr. Bodhagama Chandima Nayaka Thero, Vice-Chancellor, as the Chief Guest, with Lecturer Oshan Yapa Amarasekara as the Special Guest. Deputy Vice-Chancellor Ven. Dr. Dampe Vijitharathana Thero, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Prof. P.B. Mandawala, Emeritus Prof. Chandrasiri Rajapaksha, together with academic and non-academic staff members, also participated in the event.
Organized by the second-year undergraduates under the supervision of Lecturer Senaka Seneviratne, Head of the Department of Applied Communication and Media Technology, and planned and directed by Visiting Lecturer Sameera Attanayake, the exhibition featured outstanding photographic creations in the Digital and Mobile Photography categories.
