A field study was conducted on 24.10.2025 in the premises of Sri Devram Maha Viharaya, Pannipitiya, for the assignment requirement of the subject unit ‘Evolution and Human Behaviour related to the Anthropology Honours Degree program of the second year students of the Department of Anthropology, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Nagananda International Institute of Buddhist Studies. A field study was conducted on the modern trends in the concept of gods and goddesses in Sinhala Buddhism through observations and interviews.
